Prospero Teaching is looking for Teaching Assistants (TA) to join our successful supply team working with local Primary schools around Knowsley.
ABOUT THE SCHOOLS
* We are seeking a highly motivated, imaginative Teaching Assistant to support our local schools with a range of needs. The ideal candidate will be adaptable and able to support individuals with learning difficulties and additional needs, while also assisting other pupils in the class and the wider school context as required.
* The schools are looking to take successful applicants on working long-term through Prospero Teaching.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
* Location: Knowsley
* Position: Teaching Assistant
* Type of work: Working with a variety of needs
* Start date: January
* Contract type: Permanent
* Full time/part time: Full Time
* Minimum rate of pay: £85 per day
* Hours: 8:20am - 3:30 pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Desirable: experience working with some or all SEN such as ADHD, Behaviour, MLD, SLD, Dyslexia, and ASD.
* UK Graduates are welcome to apply.
* Desirable: previous experience working in a UK school, either in a primary or secondary setting.
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year.
* Excellent literacy, numeracy & ICT skills.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK.
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
* Provide professional related references.
