Shift Pattern:
Week 1 - Monday to Thursday - 14:00pm - 12:00am
Week 2 - Tuesday to Friday - 06:00am - 16:00pm
Week 3 - Monday to Thursday - 05:00am - 15:00pm
Week 4 - Tuesday to Friday - 06:00am - 16:00pm
The Job:
As Maintenance Engineer you will play a vital role in a dedicated team, maintaining and enhancing cutting-edge production systems while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
1. Troubleshoot and enhance automated processes and packaging machinery, identifying long-term, cost-effective solutions to prevent recurring issues.
2. Build strong relationships with Engineers and Management, providing technical advice, breakdown assistance, and improvement recommendations.
3. Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency.
4. Assist in assessing skills, identifying training needs, and mentoring apprentices and Technical Operators.
5. Lead the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring smooth transitions and skill transfer to relevant teams.
6. Promote adherence to health and safety policies, championing best practices across the department.
7. Collaborate with the Engineering Manager on projects that enhance performance, meet specifications, and are delivered on time and within budget.
What You'll Need:
1. Electrical engineering qualification
2. Experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a high-speed manufacturing/production environment
3. Understanding of the 17th Edition/Electricity at Work Regulations
4. Strong communication and relationship building skills
5. Ability to collaborate effectively with others
6. Continuous improvement mindset
7. Computer literate - MS Office
