The Role of Site Engineer
* Assisting and implementing the organisation of projects in the field as well as the office, providing input as directed into the planning aspects of the project.
* Accountable for field-based logistics including ensuring that the project specification is followed, correct equipment is used and maintained on site, and correct health and safety procedures are followed.
* Ensuring that all technical and site work is carried out to a high standard, safely, on time and within budget.
* Execution of ground investigations.
* Contract management on site to include delivery of projects on time and to maximize profits from each contract.
* Maintain an effective line of communication between site and the office.
* Work with Project Managers and Line Managers to develop personal objectives.
The Right Site Engineer
* 2 years' experience within the field
* BSc in Earth Sciences or related degree
* SMSTS
* Full UK driving license
