Ormiston Park Academy is seeking to appoint a highly-motivated and dedicated Site Assistant who will play a vital role in maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and functionality of our school premises. The successful candidate will work closely with the Premises Manager and the facilities team to ensure the smooth operation of the school site on a day-to-day basis.
The Successful Candidate Will Be Required To
* Support the maintenance of a clean Academy environment, carry out minor repairs and reinstatement of fabric and fittings where required, within the expertise of the post holder.
* Assist with the completion of site checks and documentation in accordance with iAM compliant, the digital Facilities Management system.
* Assist in carrying out appropriate duties in relation to Academy buildings and the open environment regarding matters of security, safety, cleanliness and comfort, conducive to the working needs of the students, staff and visitors to Academy sites.
* Contribute to all aspects of building and facilities repairs & maintenance (PPMs and reactive repairs).
* Together with the Site Manager, co-ordinate and manage contractor activities in accordance with Academy policies and procedures.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 6am to 2pm and 10am to 6pm on a weekly rota basis.
