Are you passionate about working with children and looking for a flexible role? We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide ad-hoc support in primary schools across Portsmouth, covering short-term staff absences.
Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary Schools in Portsmouth
Hours: Flexible, on-demand shifts to cover short-term sickness
Pay: £12.82 per hour (Term-time only)

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide temporary support to cover staff sickness in primary schools
2. Assist students individually or in small groups, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
3. Help create an engaging and positive classroom environment
4. Collaborate with teachers to enhance student learning and development
What We’re Looking For
1. Experience working with children, particularly in primary education or with SEN
2. A genuine passion for helping children succeed
3. Flexibility to work on short notice as needed
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills
5. A commitment to promoting an inclusive learning environment
