Join Intertek SAI Global Business Assurance division as a Business Development Partner. This is a hybrid role with an expectation of two days a week in our Derby office. You will be responsible for nurturing incoming leads to the point of interest, working with pre-agreed data to generate appointments for sales colleagues in key target areas, directly selling our training portfolio where relevant, and supporting colleagues with bids and tenders.
Required skills and experience:
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven track record of hitting targets and KPIs
* Ability to work under pressure
* Self-motivated with a positive 'can-do' attitude
* Good IT skills, including experience working with a CRM system
* Full driving license and own car are desirable
About the opportunity
Key activities:
* Outbound calling to potential customers
* Meeting activity KPIs around call volume, lead management, opportunity generation, client contact, and pipeline maintenance
* Delivering high levels of customer service and building strong client relationships
* Closing deals and achieving sales/appointment targets
* Updating the Customer Relationship Management System
