Our client are a multi-discipline construction consultancy based in Didsbury, they are looking to add a Chartered Building Surveyor to their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality support to our clients customers, mentoring junior staff and contributing to the growth of two thriving and dynamic businesses.
The Role of Chartered Building Surveyor
We are seeking an experienced Chartered Building Surveyor to conduct comprehensive residential and commercial property surveys. The successful candidate will be involved in delivering detailed home buyer reports (Level 2 & 3) and handling various aspects of commercial surveying including pre-acquisition surveys and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities:
* Working with Commercial clients on Dilapidations, Contract Administration, Schedules of Condition, Pre-Acquisition Surveys, and PPMs.
* Administer contracts and oversee project development from initiation to completion.
* Collaborate with other surveyors, contractors, and clients to ensure high standards of project execution and deadlines are met.
* Participate in weekly meetings to discuss project progress and strategies.
* Support the growth of the business by providing customers with outstanding services and give input into the wider business development strategy.
* Conduct detailed residential surveys and produce comprehensive home buyer reports (Level 2 & 3).
About You
* Chartered Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
* Proven experience in residential and commercial surveying.
* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills.
* A valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
