The Role – What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Sub Assembly Technician, you will play a key role in the production and assembly of our vehicles, ensuring components meet the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include:
* Sub-assembly of components to support production and stock management.
* Working closely with stock and procurement teams to maintain efficient workflow.
* Building iconic vehicles in scaled-down form, integrating electric powertrains.
* Creating and maintaining assembly processes for efficiency and quality.
* Completing build & compliance documentation and inspection records.
* Upholding quality control standards, ensuring all work meets strict requirements.
* Supporting prototype builds and testing of new vehicle concepts.
* Providing training and support to the wider production team.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience in precision craftsmanship assembly, where final fit and finish are essential.
* A background in niche, low-volume, or motorsport engineering with a strong understanding of vehicle systems.
* Exceptional attention to detail, with a focus on safety and quality.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose issues at the component level.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and assembly documentation.
* A hands-on, team-player mentality, with a proactive approach to challenges.
* Passion for automotive innovation and engineering excellence.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):
* Motorsport experience
* Knowledge of electric vehicle systems (Hybrid & EV Level 2/3 training)
* Experience working with composite materials
* Ability to read wiring diagrams and harness drawings
