Band 7 Highly Specialist Neurophysiotherapist with an interest in Vestibular Rehabilitation
We are looking for a dynamic Band 7 neurophysiotherapist, with a special interest in Vestibular Rehabilitation to join the Neurorehabilitation Team within the Neurology Long Term Condition Service at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.
This post may interest you if you have had a wide range of experience of neurorehabilitation, assessment and treatment of patients with a wide range of neurological diagnoses, as well as experience within Vestibular rehabilitation.
The post involves working as part of a highly specialist multidisciplinary team, consisting of physiotherapy, occupational therapy and Speech and Language therapy to provide holistic management for patients with Neurological impairment.
The post involves working as part of a multidisciplinary leadership team to continue to develop and enhance service delivery, support quality improvement and service development.
The post holder would also have responsibility for the supervision and support of more junior staff, assistants and students.
Main duties of the job
* Specialist assessment and treatment of patients with neurological diagnoses, delivery of neurorehabilitation and vestibular rehabilitation.

Qualifications
Essential
* Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
* Specialist post graduate courses
* Clinical Educators/Field worker course or equivalent
* Registration with HCPC
Desirable
* Management and leadership skills training
* Evidence of training at Masters level - eg completion of relevant masters modules or equivalent
* Member of special interest group
* Membership of appropriate professional body
Experience

* Broad base of relevant clinical experience prior to specialising and extensive experience of working in the speciality area
* Experience of managing a caseload of clients with complex needs
* Experience of managing staff
* Experience of multi-disciplinary working
* Experience of student education within the workplace up to graduate level and supervision of senior and junior staff and students
* Experience of clinical audit and service evaluation and experience of project management /service development
