Job Description:
We have just been approached by our NHS Teaching Hospital in Yorkshire to help recruit an ST3+ and an SHO in the Emergency Assessment Unit, both on NHS Fixed Term contracts of at least 12 months or on a permanent basis.
Our client is one of the largest and busiest Trusts in Yorkshire, providing a comprehensive range of acute hospital and specialist healthcare services for approximately 800,000 people living within the area. The Trust is set to benefit from a £40 million share of funding, following a successful bid for capital investment, enabling the creation of a Combined Emergency Assessment Unit, where staff from a range of medical specialties can work side-by-side in a single assessment area, close to the front door and diagnostic support.
The EAU works alongside the Emergency Department, taking many patients who can be seen and treated in the same day or the following day, without the need for hospital admission. EAU combines the functions of a same-day emergency care unit, frailty assessment unit, and Emergency Department CDU, located in an adjacent ward area. The department is currently undergoing an exciting £47 million project to offer high-quality modern facilities designed to create the best environment for patient care.
Our client offers the best of both worlds, working in a beautiful, vibrant seaside area with local industries such as agriculture, fishing, and tourism, along with close transport links to major cities such as Manchester & Leeds.
Additional Information:
1. Must have GMC Registration
2. Wide range of Specialty Interests supported
3. Excellent leadership
