Job Description
Location: Fleet Service, Kittybrewster Depot
Duration: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37 Hours Per Week
Weekly rota shift pattern:
1. Week 1: Monday-Thursday 6am - 2pm, Friday 6am-13:30pm
2. Week 2: Monday-Thursday 14:00pm - 22:00pm, Friday 11:30am-19:00pm
Job Purpose
The post holder will be responsible for inspection, maintenance, and repairs on vehicles, plant, and equipment within Aberdeen City Council Fleet workshops and depots. The candidate should have the ability to work on their own initiative and communicate effectively with the Management team and customers.
Requirements
1. City and Guilds, SVQ construction – Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering
2. Full UK Driving Licence
