As the UK's premium ventilation manufacturer, Vent-Axia is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Specification Sales Manager to join our successful UK team.

As a Regional Specification Sales Manager (East Anglia), you will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling our ventilation products and solutions to planned works managers, reactive repairs mangers, and other key stakeholders within the Social Housing market within the following post codes: PE, NR, IP, CB, SG, MK, LU, HP, CM, SG, and CO.
Your primary focus will be on generating new specifications and maintaining your historical specifications, arranging detailed toolbox training sessions for housing providers and their install teams. securing and managing projects whilst driving revenue and market share.
As a Regional Specification Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:
* Develop and implement a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed sales targets within your designated territory.
* Identify, contact and manage relationships with housing providers, architects, specifiers, consultants, contractors, and other key decision-makers to drive specification of our products within local authority and housing associations.
* Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to educate and influence specifiers on the features, benefits, and value proposition of our products.
* Collaborate with the internal technical and design teams to provide customized solutions and support to specifiers during the project development phase.
* Actively track and manage project pipelines, ensuring timely follow-ups.
* Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to senior management.
* Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to identify new opportunities for business growth.
* Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and expand the network of potential clients.
* Collaborate closely with the wider sales team to support their efforts in closing deals and achieving overall sales objectives that may cross over into your defined territory.
* Maintain a high level of product knowledge and stay updated on industry standards, codes, and regulations.
To be successful in this role you will need:
* Experienced specification manager who has had a minimum of 5 year’s experience working within the specification market, or within an industry selling into Local Authority.
* Experience working within the Electrical or building materials industry.
* Proven track record in managing a territory and growing sales.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and effectively influence key stakeholders.
* Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to drive sales growth and meet targets.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Proficiency in using CRM, Excel, word software and other sales tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
* Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as needed.
* Manual Driving License
