This is a great opportunity for somebody who is looking for a driving role that will lead them into a field engineering career, working for a great organisation that will offer full training. This position will be covering the West London area.
There are many parts to this role:
1. Meet engineers on site and remove cash from ATMs under security protocol, working closely with the engineer to ensure the site is well placed for a de-cash.
2. When not working on de-cashing machines, meet engineers on site, deliver and hand over larger parts for the ATMs, and assist the engineer if required.
3. Occasionally carry out non-engineering tasks, such as meeting BT, locksmiths, and alarm handovers.
4. Once training has been given, carry out basic fault finding on ATMs in the absence of the Field Engineer, such as clearing card reader faults, printer faults, and note jams. Some heavy lifting might be involved.
5. As an MST, you will be responsible for returning parts and ordering replacements, ensuring that you keep order of your stock.
For this position, you will need to demonstrate good geographical knowledge of the local area and, on occasion, work out of the area, which could involve a longer distance for driving.
Ideally, you will have previous experience with electronics or mechanical devices and basic fault-finding skills, even if it involves mending and fault finding on home gadgets and appliances.
An SIA license would be beneficial but is not essential, as the organisation will arrange for this to be taken.
Good communication skills and basic admin skills are essential for this role.
You must be self-motivated and driven, with an interest in working in the field and developing into a field engineer, should this be your aim.
A full driving licence is essential for this role. You must also be able to be security cleared.
Superb opportunity, excellent organisation.
