Location: Redhill; Surrey (Hybrid or On-site, 6-8 Days per month remote, the rest onsite in Redhill, Surrey; Please note: full-time onsite during the probation period)

About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing & Reporting Manager to lead the telecoms service billing and reporting functions within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will manage all aspects of the monthly billing cycle, ensure accuracy in data processing, and provide critical reporting insights using Excel and/or SQL.
This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of billing processes in telecoms, satellite, or related industries, and the ability to optimize workflows for efficiency and accuracy. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the entire telecoms service billing process, from data validation to invoice issuance.
* Ensure the accuracy and integrity of billing systems and databases.
* Process activations, deactivations, and changes to service packages while maintaining compliance with company policies.
* Monitor and resolve billing discrepancies, errors, or missing Call Data Records (CDRs).
* Generate detailed reports on billing trends, revenue assurance, and operational efficiencies.
* Support internal teams with data extraction, analysis, and presentations.
* Manage customer billing inquiries, troubleshoot issues and ensure timely resolution.#
* Maintain and improve automation in billing processes, using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros) and/or SQL queries.
* Collaborate with finance teams for accurate revenue recognition and reporting.
* Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience in telecoms service billing, telecoms finance, or related fields.
* Strong data analysis skills, with advanced Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, Charts, Lookup Queries).
* Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and reporting.
* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve billing discrepancies effectively.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Experience managing or mentoring a small team.
* Strong stakeholder communication, including liaising with finance, sales, and support teams.
* Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience with billing software in telecoms or satellite communications.
* Exposure to ERP systems such as Navision or Great Plains.
* Understanding of database management and automation tools.
