Job Description for the Practice Accounts Manager role:
To effectively supervise and mentor the team
To develop the team and offer guidance and support on client work or in professional development
To conduct performance reviews with the team
Managing a small portfolio of key clients
To build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering a bespoke service to meet their needs
To regularly communicate with clients regarding their needs and requirements
Overseeing the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, etc to ensure they are compliant with current regulations
Review work completed by junior team members to ensure quality
To advise clients on accounts, tax, and business matters, such as tax planning
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge in tax laws and accounting standards
To support operational budgets and targets For the Practice Accounts Manager role, it would be good to see candidates with the following experience:
Strong leadership skills
Ideally, ACA or ACCA fully or part qualified
A strong understanding of accountancy and tax regulations
The ability to build and maintain client relationships
Experience with accountancy software such as Sages, Xero, and Quickbooks
Audit experience would be an advantage
Strong IT skills
Proactive and results-driven person
High attention to detail Hours: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 Per Annum
