As a Finance Manager you will be responsible for ensuring financial stability and compliance of the organisations housing services, and ultimately providing best value to residents. Client Details Our client are a well-established non profit organisation based in the North East. They are looking for a full time and permanent Finance Manager to join them. The successful candidate will report into the Finance Director, and will work alongside another Finance Manager and a Finance Assistant. Description Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts and report variances. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit. Oversee the company's financial systems and databases, ensuring data integrity and security. Provide leadership and support to the accounting team. Profile The successful Finance Manager should have: Demonstrable experience in a similar Finance Manager role Experience working within Housing would be desirable (specifically with housing benefit and rent) A solid understanding and experience in accounting and financial management principles. Proficiency in using financial software and databases. Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills. Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximise performance, creativity, problem solving, and results.
