We have a unique opportunity for an Apprentice Quotations Engineer where you'll earn while you learn! We will teach you to quote works from our customer enquiries and service/maintenance sheets. You will support to a team of engineers with your knowledge and issues that come up on sites.
As an apprentice, you’ll engage in a hands-on learning experience, developing new skills while building connections with our knowledgeable staff.
What You’ll Do at Work
* Ensure that services and maintenance are in alignment with the current and future needs of the business and it’s customers. Strive to improve quality of works being completed.
* You will learn to complete quotations in a timely fashion.
* Help maintain a reduced backlog of quotations.
* Maintain a close working relationship with the Technical Manager in order to review and improve the department’s aims and objectives.
* Maintain a close working relationship with the operations team to delivery service KPI’s.
* Ensure that service quality is being managed in accordance with the agreed processes.
* Report and escalate any service issues or customer complaints to the Technical Manager in a timely fashion, ensuring that corrective action is taken where necessary.
* Monitoring of engineers knowledge to ensure both service and maintenance are carried out correctly.
* Dedicated to the provision of excellent Customer service. Meet the expectations and requirements of both the internal and external customers, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with customers

Enrol in a level 3 Engineering Technician level 3 delivered by Train'd Up alongside fellow Johnson Controls apprentices.

* GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 5) essential
* GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade 5) essential
* Other Driving Licence (Grade Full) essential

What’s Next?
Suitable candidates will be contacted via email to provide their evidence of required certifications. Once we receive the evidence of certification you will have a screening call with a recruiter to discuss the position. Afterward, you will be invited to an assessment centre, where you will participate in a practical assessment, meet the team, and have an interview.
Candidates will receive a response regarding the outcome of their application. If successful, they can expect to begin the apprenticeship with Johnson Controls in the late summer of 2025.
