SEMH BASE HIGHER-LEVEL TEACHING ASSISTANTS (2 POSITIONS)
Grade G Point: 12-15 – 37 Hours per week + 2 PD Days
Actual Salary: £23,570 – £24,742
Permanent: Start As Soon As Possible
Green Lane Primary Academy, part of The Legacy Learning Trust, is seeking to appoint two experienced, talented and dynamic HLTAs to work in our new Outreach and Intervention SEMH Base. We strongly recommend visits to our new provision, which will cater for children with low-level SEMH needs.
Successful candidates will be able to work collaboratively to engage learners within a diverse and inclusive setting.

We are seeking to appoint two passionate, highly-skilled members of staff to join our dedicated, caring team. Applicants are asked to demonstrate their skills and experience that they will bring to the posts and how they will meet the requirements of the Person Specification.
The successful applicants will:
1. Have substantial experience of working directly with children with special educational needs
2. Have knowledge and an understanding of the curriculum and its implications for children with SEMH needs
3. Demonstrate outstanding skills in supporting teaching and learning
4. Embrace and continue to uphold the caring, nurturing ethos of the school
5. Be able to contribute to curriculum development within the Base team
6. Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and communication skills
7. Have opportunity to further develop their skills through a variety of professional development opportunities within an inclusive and supportive environment
The successful candidates will work in our newly designated Base working with pupils with SEMH needs.
