Come work with us and be part of an innovative family learning programme as part of the Children’s Capital of Culture Place Partnership Programme in 2025 to 2026.
This is an exciting time to join the Rotherham Museums, Arts and Heritage team, which includes Clifton Park Museum, Boston Castle, and five heritage sites across the Rotherham Borough. The Service is the lead organisation for Family Learning through the Children’s Capital of Culture programme and since 2022 has been developing its work with intergenerational families across Rotherham.
In 2025, Rotherham will be the world’s first Children’s Capital of Culture, which also presents a wonderful opportunity for the service to build connections with children, young people, and their families to build cohesion, empathy, pride, and aspiration.
Rotherham Museums, Arts and Heritage has created a mission to ‘spark imagination, curiosity, and roots through the celebration of Rotherham’s people, stories, spaces, and collections’. This is underpinned by five values: generosity, quality, inclusivity, wonder, and resilience, which are threaded through all our programmes.
The service is part of the Arts Council England 2023-26 Investment Programme as a National Portfolio Organisation.
