Do you have a passion for teaching new starters how to use IT Systems and the process behind them? If yes, then you could be the perfect candidate!
In this role, you will deliver and develop IT Systems and Business Process classroom training for police officers and police staff.
You will have attained or be willing to work towards a QCF level 3 Certificate in L&D or equivalent. Ideally, you will have excellent communication skills and experience in presenting.
You will have the proven ability to identify and clearly articulate (verbally and written) IT system faults and business process issues, collaborating with stakeholders to seamlessly integrate new technologies.
You must ensure valid and reliable assessment standards are used when undertaking tutorials or conducting tests/exams and promote equality and fairness in the classroom.
We want you to be able to design, implement, and maintain training courses to recognised force-wide and nationally approved quality standards. With your expertise, you can provide support in relevant curriculum areas to course participants and cooperate with other areas of the business.
You must ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Welfare requirements whilst conducting training and maintain your own CPD by keeping up to date with changes in procedures, policy, and training methods.
A flexible approach to working hours and the ability to travel to different locations within the force is essential. You will have proven working knowledge of the IT Systems and business processes included in the training portfolio.
You must be able to plan and manage your own workload and have experience of working to deadlines. Understanding of Data Protection and Information Security legislation and issues is also essential.

Vetting: All posts require a level of Police Vetting as per the National Vetting Code of Practice. The residency requirement is necessary to enable all applicants to be checked in an equitable manner. Thames Valley Police will allow applicants to apply who do not necessarily reach the criteria as long as they have proven UK residency and supporting evidence where necessary.
