Job Description Job Title: WTP Fee Earner (Wills, Trusts & Probate - Post-Death Team) Location: Ware Salary: c.£45k DOE Position Overview: Our client is an expanding law firm in Ware. Due to growth they are seeking a motivated and skilled WTP Fee Earner to join our Wills, Trusts & Probate (Post-Death Team). This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified to 3 years PQE Solicitor or GILEX/FILEX professional who is eager to advance their career in a dynamic and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Take instructions and prepare a range of Wills, LPAs, and general PoAs. Manage probate and estate administration from basic to complex, including taxable estates and IHT400 schedules. Administer intestate estates with a solid understanding of intestacy rules and procedures. Understand and handle trusts, including Life Interest and Discretionary Trusts, as well as their creation, administration, and dissolution. Provide excellent client service to a diverse clientele, including high net worth and older clients. Collaborate with team members and other departments, recognising cross-referral opportunities. Engage in networking and business development activities to promote the firm. Qualifications and Experience: Solicitor or GILEX/FILEX qualification. NQ-3 years PQE. STEP membership or willingness to work towards the qualification is preferred but not essential. Personal Skills and Qualities: Excellent team player with flexibility and self-sufficiency. Strong IT literacy and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work calmly and methodically under pressure during busy periods. Keen to engage in business development and networking activities. Car owner for travel between offices and client meetings as required.
