Responsibilities: Produce excellent hair & make up which is in line with the Shein guidelines and requests. Capability to produce, develop & execute the looks following accurately the brief requirements. Work with deadlines, ensuring all models are timely ready for the shoot and all KPIs are adhered to Build relationships with the Shein models to instill trust in your hair &make-up ability and in the wider production department. Deal with any model issues professionally and in line with the Shein Code of Conduct. Maintain and encourage a positive ‘can do’ atmosphere in the studios which is conducive to high production levels and excellent quality of work. Flexible and strong ‘all-rounder’ qualities. Attention to detail is crucial in order to maintain visual quality and consistency across all images taken for the website. Working simultaneously across multilple models per day. To ensure excellent knowledge of the Shein Guidelines to best execute the brand vision Work with the wider shoot team to solve any issues on set and help facilitate a smooth shoot process Strong awareness and knowledge of trends and how these can be interpreted through the Shein Creative vision Maintain efficiencies within the studios. Carry out daily administrative tasks and shoot preparation. Brief freelance members of the hair and makeup team on daily direction. Work continuously with peers to implement changes in order to improve studio efficiencies or shoot imagery. Work reactively on set, problem solving and showing initiative in a fast paced studio environment Maintaining/ cleaning equipment and products daily to ensure a professional & sanitary working environment. Share knowledge with other members of the team, supportive in team development. Take on feedback constructively, with ability to critique your own work Follow all creative, operational processes for hair & make-up and within the wider department Delivering projects to support the department strategy and any other ad hoc tasks defined by Hair & Make-Up Manager. Be recognised as an aspirational figure within your team and the wider department. Requirements: Available for a 6 month contract position. A creative portfolio of Hair and Makeup imagery is required on application. Excellent hair styling technique and makeup artistry, a very strong creative visual focus, as well as possessing strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Experience in both mens and womens hair and makeup, including cutting and/or barbering skills. Salon, e-commerce and editorial experience is a must. Experienced and competent working with all hair types including braiding. Experienced and competent working with all skin tones. Strong organisation and time management skills is essential. Strong Fashion and Beauty trend knowledge Excellent attention to detail A team player who is just as competent to work independently. Ability to draw on a wide range of references and a strong eye for detail ensuring delivery of exceptional work Strong organisational skills and exceptional time management. Experience working in a fast paced environment with the ability to prioritise and multi-task effectively. BTEC National Diploma Hair Level 2 and/or BTEC National Diploma Makeup Level 3 would be beneficial
