Pyramid8 are currently looking for an experienced Finance Officer for a company in Huddersfield. This is a stand alone finance role and looking for an self motivated individual who wants to be part of an interesting and growing business
The role includes providing financial administrative services to support the senior management team and at all times act in a discreet and confidential manner.
Job Details
1. Credit control (aged debtor analysis and chasing debtors).
2. Process invoices and receipts
3. Transactional work (credit card and expense claims and timesheet monitoring)
4. Full control of payroll and handling of subsequent payroll queries
5. Manage staff benefit systems
6. Managing all petty cash
7. Monthly VAT reviews and adjustments including preparation of quarterly calculations / returns
8. Bank account reconciliation
9. Monitoring income and expenditure
10. Budgets and forecasts
11. Preparing financial metrics for the senior team
12. Preparing monthly management accounts
13. Refining and developing finance systems
14. Maintain company cash flow
15. First point of contact for all financial queries
16. Preparing information for year-end accounts
17. Finalising quotes / proposals
Minimum Required
18. Previous experience of a similar role required
19. Experience of financial management systems e.g. SAGE
20. Excellent organisational skills
21. Excellent attention to detail
22. Interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) are essential.
23. Qualification from a recognised accountancy body e.g. CIMA, ACCA, AAT
