Role: Dispensary & Ward Clinical Pharmacist Banding: Band 7 Location: Westcliff-on-Sea Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Working Pattern: Monday- Friday, 09:00am-17:30pm Rate: £28 - £34 per hour We are seeking seven dedicated and experienced Band 7 Pharmacists to join our team. The successful candidates will provide comprehensive ward-based clinical pharmacy services, including dispensary cover, discharge medication management, outpatient services, and homecare prescription screening. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications and contributing to high-quality patient care. Duties and Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for providing ward-based clinical pharmacy services, covering the dispensary, managing discharge medications, and screening homecare prescriptions. You will also support outpatient services, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. Your role will involve collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient care and participating in quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications and Experience: Essential: Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council. Experience in a hospital dispensary setting is preferable. Knowledge of Relevant Regulations and Standards Experience in clinical pharmacy services Desirable: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to Implement and Monitor Quality Improvement Initiatives Strong Attention to Detail and Commitment to Patient Care Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills.
