Job Description
* Source, negotiate and procure materials and services from suppliers.
* Manage supplier relationships, ensuring high quality, timely delivery, and cost-effectiveness.
* Plan and forecast procurement needs based on project timelines and budgets.
* Handle contracts and agreements with suppliers.
* Work closely with the construction and design teams to understand material requirements.
* Monitor market trends and supplier performance.
* Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier performance.
* Ensure adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory standards in the property industry.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer should have:
* Demonstrated experience in procurement within the construction or property industry.
* Happy to be based in Central London office with site visits as and when required.
* Strong negotiation and relationship building skills.
* Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
* Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory standards.
* Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
