We currently have an opportunity for a Software Test Automation Analyst to join our team at SNAP in Norwich working Monday to Friday 37.5hrs per week To identify areas of the software delivery process where test automation can be applied. Designing, coding and executing test automation scripts on agreed areas of software code without the need for human intervention. Some manual testing will be required to be undertaken on new functionality before test scripts can be adjusted or applied. Performing tests on infrastructure, databases, networks, applications, systems, software and hardware as required in order to identify bugs and quality related issues with the software delivery process and products. To speed up the process of testing and identify bugs early in the software delivery lifecycle to minimise the cost of fixing them and to ensure the software meets the stated requirements by successfully passing the acceptance criteria. Ensuring testing is as efficient as possible to enable and support agility withing the software delivery process. With plans in place to invest heavily in developing our technology offering even further whilst continuing to grow our network across Europe, it makes it an exciting and rewarding time to be part of our continuous success story As a Software Test Automation Analyst you will have access to: Competitive Salary Ride to work scheme Brand discounts through Certas group scheme 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) Buy and sell holiday scheme Company pension Job responsibilities will include: Create test strategies for product deliveries Work closely with the development team to plan, design and develop automated test cases Prepare and maintain automation test plans and scripts and execute required tests Implement automated regression testing Identify ways to introduce testing and test automation into the development workflow Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for testing Prepare and execute new functionality manual tests Understand UML (Use Cases) and how to appropriately test Other skills and experience required: A minimum of 3 years experience and able to work under own impetus as an Automation and Manual Software Tester Experience of working in an agile environment Automation Testing experience Web testing in general, Selenium, Chai (assertions), WebdriverIO (for example) Proven track record of defining and executing test scripts working with migrated data and interface API (API testing mandatory) Programming languages skills (preferably Javascript), REST libraries (mandatory) Hands on experience with a CI/CD pipeline, defining and running jobs.
