You will need to have proven experience at a band 5 in the acute medicine environment.
EAU is a 47 bedded unit that works closely alongside the High Observation Bay and the AMSDEC unit to provide a safe and effective flow through the services we provide.

We welcome candidates with experience within acute medical settings who are keen to progress their career within urgent care. You will hold a current professional registration, have excellent communication skills, the ability to remain professional under pressure, and possess excellent leadership skills.
You will be open to the challenges brought about by change and be committed to creative partnerships. You will need to be responsive to the fluctuating demands typical of the emergency environment and show a willingness to undertake extended roles.
You will require excellent clinical and leadership skills essential to fulfill the role as a nurse. We are looking for an individual who is keen to sustain and improve patient care, quality, and experience. You must be highly organized, with good attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team. It is vital that you have the capability and ability to develop and lead a team within a supportive culture.
The main focus of this role is patient flow, to ensure we get the right patient to the right place in a timely manner, with an emphasis on patient safety and clinical efficiency while demonstrating high-quality care.
