Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our dynamic team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing various HR functions, ensuring effective communication between staff and management, and contributing to the overall success of our human resources initiatives. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
1. Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, screening candidates, and conducting interviews.
2. Utilise HR systems such as BreatheHR for managing employee data and records.
3. Present HR policies and procedures to staff, ensuring clarity and compliance.
4. Manage employee relations issues, addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
5. Collaborate with management to develop training programmes that enhance employee skills.
6. Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
7. Communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation regarding HR matters.
Experience
1. Proven experience in a human resources role is essential, with familiarity in using systems like Indeed for recruitment purposes.
2. Experience supervising teams or managing projects is highly desirable.
3. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with employees at all levels.
4. Familiarity with HR best practices and employment legislation will be advantageous.
Hours
1. The hours are 8.30am to 10.30am, Monday to Friday.
2. No evenings or weekend work.
3. Option to work from home when required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
