This is a part time role working 20 hours a week. What is the role about? A Programme Engagement Officer is responsible for the sourcing of sustainable Stakeholder Organisations (Partners) for referral opportunities to the contract. The role will involve a variety of work to include identifying priority outreach areas; working with the local & regional NHS teams to promote the Healthier You programme; building strong relationships with volunteers and local organisations who can act as ambassadors, act as spokespeople to promote The Healthier You programme and to ensure the local programme and referral route meet the needs of harder to engage communities and population e.g. BAME and those from the most deprived communities and more. A Programme Engagement Officer will strictly adhere to the guidelines in accordance with the programme's requirements and Reed Well-being's policies and procedures Just some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include Business Development The Engagement Officers role will play a key part in raising awareness of the NHS Healthier You programme with Healthcare Professionals and the communities they serve. The roles will be critical highlighting the importance of the service, advising how to refer into the service people who are at risk of Type 2 diabetes and ensuring local area targets for referrals are met. Customer Service and Relationship Management Educates operations teams and about the volumes and types of members identified from key referral source Partners. Ensures all stakeholder engagement services are delivered in accordance to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) identified within SLAs. Ensures Partner's requirements and expectations are met at all times via Reed in Partnership's and/or partner's network. Co-ordinates partner's activities in conjunction with established SLAs. Represents Reed Well being at external meetings as required. Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, including excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage relationships with internal and external senior audiences with fluency and confidence. Service Delivery and Recovery Ensures information on referrals are communicated promptly to the operations teams. Ensures all outstanding referral opportunities are highlighted to the operations teams. Provides Partner briefing sessions to Co-Members as and when required. To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone with Essential Attainments: Experience of working as part of a multi-function service delivery team.A minimum of 2 A-Levels or an equivalent Level 3 Diploma. GCSE English Language at a minimum of a Grade B (or equivalent Level 2 qualification). OR achievement of a Level 2 in Literacy Assessment at interview stage.
