Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Trust Administrator to join our Private Client Trusts Tax Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in trust administration, tax compliance, and financial management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing trust accounts, tax returns, and other compliance documents. They will also assist with trust administration duties, such as managing client bank accounts and arranging payments.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare trust accounts and tax returns using CCH trust accounting software
* Assist with trust administration duties, including managing client bank accounts and arranging payments
* Prepare inheritance tax returns for relevant property trusts and qualifying interest in possession trusts
* Deal with FATCA and Common Reporting Standard compliance requirements
* Deal with the Trust Registration Service
* Prepare tax returns and repayment claim forms for beneficiaries
Requirements
* ATT or STEP part qualified or qualified
* Great listening and problem-solving skills
* Well-organized and able to manage multiple activities simultaneously
* Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritize under pressure
* Strong accuracy and attention to detail
* Willingness to learn and develop skills
