Procurement Manager
Red Rock Consultants are currently working with a leading Ground Works specialist, to recruit a Procurement Manager based near Leeds in the Castleford area.
Successful candidates will play a key role overseeing the procurement of materials for construction projects valuing from £50k to £5m across the country.
To be flourish in this role our client is looking for someone who is a professional, proactive & experienced operator that will lead the buying functions, deliver growth plans and integrate into the close-knit team.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the procurement process of materials for ground works projects
* Communication with Site Management to understand project requirements
* Build & maintain relationships with suppliers
* Negotiate terms and contracts with supplier to benefit the business
Requirements:
* Proven experience in buying materials for groundworks & civils projects
* Strong communication skills with all contributors to project
* Driven and proactive attitude
* IT Skills and ideally knowledge of Quickbooks accounting software
