Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in Cambridge for a Mobile Engineer Electrician at GSH Group. The Mobile Engineer Electrician will be responsible for delivery of PPM, Reactive Maintenance and project on a number of contracts.
Purpose/Main Functions of Position
1. Carry out scheduled planned preventative maintenance tasks at our client’s premises as directed by the Company, in accordance with company and statutory procedures.
2. Complete work risk assessments and work in a safe manner with due regard to the environment and the safety of others.
3. Respond to reactive breakdowns at our client’s premises as directed by the Company, in accordance with company and statutory procedures.
4. Participate in the company out of hours call out rota and respond to reactive breakdowns at our client’s premises as directed by our out of hours call out Bureau in accordance with company and statutory procedures.
5. Carry out small project work installations in accordance with company and statutory procedures.
6. Promote the company’s corporate image by wearing and keeping in good order the company uniform.
7. Keeping all tools equipment and company vehicle in a clean and serviceable condition.
8. Timely completion of work task status information and the neat and accurate completion and timely submission of all paperwork related to your duties.
9. Follow company procedures for arriving and leaving our clients premises.
10. Develop good working relationships with our clients on site through the promotion of a professional service.
11. To have a ‘can do’ approach to your work ethos.
12. To identify any replacement parts required, obtain costs and order such parts through the company Buyer.
13. Provide support to the Contract Managers and Supervisors as requested.
14. Attend and participate in Engineers Meetings.
15. Identify and maximise the opportunity to secure additional works.
16. Submit extra works Estimate Sheets on a regular basis.
17. Report promptly any accidents or incidents, including near misses, on the company accident free phone Help Line.
18. Drive in a safe and courteous manner.
19. Work safely in accordance with the company’s current health and safety policy and procedures to ensure the protection of your self, members of the public and our clients property.
20. Wear and replace as necessary Personal Protective Equipment provided.

* Good all round technical ability and a working knowledge of a wide variety of Building Services Equipment.
