Key Responsibilities: As a Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the contractual and financial aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed successfully, on time, and within budget. Your responsibilities will include: Managing the end-to-end contract process, from tendering through to completion, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions. Overseeing and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring value for money and minimizing financial risk. Reviewing and advising on contract documents and specifications, providing guidance on contractual obligations and responsibilities. Managing project budgets, cost control, and cash flow to ensure projects remain financially viable. Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress, assess risks, and ensure that the projects meet the required standards. Managing and mitigating project risks, identifying potential issues early and implementing solutions to resolve them. Liaising with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to ensure clear communication and timely resolution of any contractual issues. Preparing and submitting reports on project status, including financial performance, and providing recommendations for improvements or adjustments. Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle. Managing and developing relationships with key clients to foster long-term partnerships and secure future contracts. Requirements: To succeed as a Contracts Manager, the ideal candidate will have the following: Strong experience in managing construction contracts, including contract administration, cost control, and risk management. Proven experience in negotiating, drafting, and managing contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to managing risks and resolving issues. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and project teams. Proficiency in contract management software and relevant industry tools. Full UK driving licence and the right to work in the UK.
