Managing Director & Producer at Swans Events
We are seeking a highly motivated, innovative and driven Festival and Marketing Coordinator to join our team for a fixed contract until December 2025. In this role, you'll be at the heart of our event planning and marketing strategy, helping to organise and promote exciting events while building the brand presence of Swans Events and our festivals. This is a varied role that offers the chance to develop your skills in event management and marketing.
Responsibilities
1. Work closely with the MD to help create and execute marketing campaigns, including social media schedule, content creation, press releases;
2. Maintain and update the company’s digital presence (Facebook & Instagram)
3. Maintenance of company and relevant festival websites ensuring what to expect, audience information and contacts is up to date;
4. Organising and coordinating printed publicity for events (posters, flyers, programme);
5. Assist with coordination for a variety of events, ensuring they run smoothly from concept to execution including budgeting, production, creative programming, artist liaison, community engagement and H&S.
6. Assist with the development of event materials, such as signage, event manuals and accreditation
7. Manage post-event follow-ups and evaluation reports
8. Provide general administrative support for the team, including managing calendars, meetings minutes, and circulation of documents
9. Assist Event & Production Managers onsite during the build, live event and de-rig
About You
1. Knowledge & Experience in event coordination and /or marketing
2. Experience of supporting community-led events
3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients, suppliers, and team members.
4. Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
5. Experience using Canva, Wordpress and Wix, or open to learning.
6. Excellent organisational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask.
7. Experience of contributing to evaluation reports
8. A proactive, self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
9. A passion for events and creativity.
10. Experience with remote work and a flexible approach to work locations (London & Sheffield)
