Job Title: Learning Support Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Sale Job Type: Contract, Full-Time Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £85 - £95 Per day Job Description: The Learning Support Assistant will work in a school setting, providing support to students with special educational needs, learning difficulties, or disabilities. The role involves working closely with teachers to implement individual education plans and assist students in their learning and development. Job Duties: Supporting students in the classroom, during activities, and on educational outings Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and resources Providing one-to-one support to students as needed Helping students with personal care and mobility, if required Assisting with behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment Required Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths Relevant experience working with children or young people Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills: The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and experience working in a similar role. Knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities is desirable, along with strong organisational skills and a patient and supportive attitude. The work may involve some physical activity and the need to adapt to different learning styles and abilities.
