We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Workday Support Team as Workday Senior Functional Partner – Reporting and Data Analytics operating within the Arriva Corporate Centre.
Given the increasing focus on data within Arriva, this role is designed to help colleagues understand how to best use the data available to them whilst educating our colleagues on dashboard functionality and the on-going evolution of these.
The role can be based with colleagues in either our London or Sunderland office, a minimum of 2 days per week with the rest focusing on where you can best deliver, whilst still allowing for the required work life balance. The role operates Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week with 1 hour lunch per day.
Act as SME for Workday Reporting and Analytics, responsible for the maintenance, change requests and upgrades across these areas.
Provide data insights to showcase opportunities to drive standardisation. Be the advocate of Workday with the ethos of “adopt not adapt”.
Support the BUs as a critical enabler to maximise automation opportunities and reduce off system processes.
Assist the business in being curious about the benefits of data hubs versus data dashboard, providing expert knowledge on the business benefits to aid usage decisions.
Host and facilitate workshops and demonstrations virtually and in-person to help stakeholders understand what good looks like.
Support other Functional Specialists, building relationships to partner with key stakeholders to agree continuous improvement for the way in which core HR transactions and processes are reported on within Workday.
Thinking across all workstreams to provide data modelling and bring a reporting lens across. Utilise Workday Community and Workday Success Plans to understand best practice, market trends alongside remaining connected with Workday to ensure we bring the outside in at relevant opportunities.
Responsible for assessing all change impacts in relation to reporting and analytics following the governance model in place to reduce risk and identify improvement.
Responsible for configuring and maintaining all reports, dashboards, and analytics within Workday.
Responsible for configuring and maintaining any updates to reports and security policies.
Responsible for testing of any new functionality or upgrades/releases.
Support in maintaining training activities and materials, including user guides, FAQ, recorded demos, Sharepoint content, etc.
We’re looking for analytical candidates experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to core HR processes and interaction between HR and payroll/other external systems such as time recording and recruiting.
Candidates must have experience with Workday System and either attained Workday Pro Reporting and/or Workday Pro Prism Analytics or working towards this.
Experience working in a multi-national organisation, working with multi-business implementations.
Experience of sales & divestitures and the impact on Workday.
Experience aligning with areas of Workday product that involve the most innovation, configuration and consulting opportunities.
