Asset & Improvements Manager
Duration: 3-6 months initially with a view to be extended
Hourly/Day rate: Negotiable depending on experience
Sellick Partnership Ltd is working alongside a Housing association to recruit an Asset & Improvements Manager to lead the delivery of planned maintenance, refurbishment, and regeneration programmes based on accurate systems for the collection and management of asset and attribute data. These programmes will be delivered under robustly procured and well-managed contracts.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Lead the delivery of planned maintenance to their houses and properties
* Manage asset and attribute data to inform planned maintenance, refurbishment, and regeneration programmes
* Create and manage planned maintenance, refurbishment, and regeneration programmes
* Procure and manage contracts for planned and major work
* Exercise stewardship of the highest order in relation to budgets and resources, including the co-ordination, production, management, and monitoring of the service's budget and performance.
Specific Responsibilities:
* Manage capital improvements, planned maintenance, cyclical maintenance, and associated repairs in accordance with policies and a 30-year Capital Investment Business Plan
* Assist with managing the housing stock with a lead role in property safety and overall condition
* Manage procurement planning of maintenance, testing, and servicing contracts to ensure statutory compliance
