I'm working on behalf of a fantastic special school in the Forest of Dean that are looking for a TA to join the team from 4th November, providing support in a variety of different classes. The school look after students aged 4-16 with a wide range of special needs & disabilities which include SLD, MLD, ASD, PMLD, Complex Needs & SEMH.
The school are a tough but also incredibly rewarding environment to work in. The team are a tight knit group who are very welcoming of new starters and will provide you with constant support.
The role
This particular role will be an all rounder type of position where you will provide general classroom support across a range of different classes. This ‘floating’ position requires people who have good general SEN experience as well as being positive, adaptable, proactive and good team players.
As mentioned earlier, this school can be a challenging environment to work in so require people who have worked with special needs & disabilities before. Candidates with solid special needs experience within support work are very much encouraged to apply.
