Upon joining our department, you will receive training to be part of the vetting team, ensuring requests are justified in line with IR(ME)R regulations. Our Radiology department is undergoing an equipment replacement project which includes; a state of the art DR X-ray room, C-Arms, IR/cardiac lab with cone beam CT and new CT and MRI scanners. You will contribute to the out of hours shift system, operational 24/7 Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays and religious festivals. This post is open to applications from qualified Radiographers and undergraduate student radiographers due to qualify in 2025. We operate on a 4 day working week, Night duties based on a three shift (Sun-Tue, Wed-Fri) or single (Sat) shift pattern Main duties of the job Successful applicants can expect to train and rotate through various sections of the department including; x-ray imaging services forGP and outpatients, trauma, inpatients and Special procedures using static and mobile x-ray units and Static and mobile fluoroscopy Units.
