WE Talent is currently supporting an exciting business in Braintree with their search for a Planning and Supply Chain Co-ordinator to join their experienced team.
This role is with a growing business based in Maldon that offers comprehensive training and ongoing career development support. The ideal candidate will be ambitious, with aspirations to grow within the company and progress into a managerial role in the future.
Full product training will be provided, and upon successful completion, there will be an opportunity to work on a hybrid basis.
This role will be representing the company brand, and we therefore are looking for candidates with professionalism who can align with their company values.
This role is full time, permanent, covering 37.5 hours over a Monday to Friday week, 8:45 - 17:15 flexi hours offered.
Duties include:
1. Liaising directly with the Supply Chain manager
2. Generate and maintain PO’s so as to ensure that goods are ordered in full and on time
3. Pricing records are accurate
4. Fluctuations in delivery dates are challenged and recorded/communicated accurately
5. Develop and manage Manufacturing Order Requests (MOR’s) in accordance with MRP demand
Experience needed:
1. Previous purchasing or planning experience
2. Previous experience of working in manufacturing
3. Team player with the ability to work together in collaboration with other departments
4. Idea generator
5. Compliance with regulations
6. Attention to detail
