Making A Difference provides short breaks in the community and family support for children and young people with disabilities and/or behaviours that challenge.
We are looking for an individual who is patient, caring and highly confident in working with children with complex additional needs.
Support Required:
1. Monday - Saturday morning support from 7am-8:30am - Assisting young person's grandmother in getting her ready for school.
2. Monday - Saturday evening support from 4:30pm-6pm - Supporting young person with 1 other staff member with bath and bedtime routine.
3. Role involves personal care and administering medication via PEG.
Family are very welcoming and supportive. Young person is 15 years old and has Retts Syndrome, ADHD, SPD, GDD, Autism, Curved Spine, Epilepsy and is non-verbal.
Requirements:
* PEG FEED Training
* Local to Rainham
* Experience supporting children with complex needs
* Able to commit to work days and times as listed above
