Are you a Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer an exciting challenge within the automation industry? Our client is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to be able to go to customer sites from Preston to the south of England and ensure the smooth operation and maintenance of equipment. You will need a track record of providing excellent customer service, ensuring customer service needs are met and providing technical support helping them succeed. The role as a Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer: Provide timely and professional technical support to clients via phone, email, or in person. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related issues effectively. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve customer issues. Install, configure, and maintain Leap Automation equipment. Conduct regular system maintenance and perform necessary updates and upgrades. Document and track customer interactions, solutions, and support activities in a CRM system. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Assist in the development and improvement of support processes and documentation. Qualifications and skills needed for the Multi-Skilled Field Service Engineer: Multidisciplinary engineering background. Proven experience in a similar technical support role. Strong technical background and proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Exceptional customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
