Position Summary
As a Mobility Specialist, you will be the face of Metropolis Parking in our parking lots and will assist customers by helping them sign up for the new parking technology as needed with a polite and courteous attitude. To be successful, you must have the stamina to stand for extended periods of time while remaining vibrant and friendly. Responsible for preventive and daily maintenance and upkeep of property, grounds, and common areas. Also responsible for customer satisfaction by answering parking and general questions.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Greet and welcome guests to the parking lots and garages and offer professional services.
2. Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can-do attitude, and willingness to help.
3. Handle and carefully respond to all customer inquiries on the parking lots/garages with confidence.
4. Patrol designated parking lots/garages and identify vehicles without proper payment or permission.
5. Write and issue parking violations to parking customers and tenants who violate parking policies.
6. Document violations by photo using company-provided handheld device.
7. Maintain cleanliness in parking lots and common areas.
8. Communicate debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards appropriately.
9. Flexibility to work at a variety of different shifts.
10. Stand and walk throughout the garages and/or lots for prolonged periods of up to six consecutive hours.
11. Visually inspect vehicles in garages and lots; physically access all areas in all types of weather.
12. Repair and complete general maintenance on gate(s).
13. Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment.
14. Wipe down surfaces, equipment, and sweep floors.
15. Perform general maintenance of the parking lot and/or garage, including but not limited to:
1. Pressure washing
2. Power sweeping
3. Painting
4. Snow removal/salting (as needed)
5. Basic repairs
6. Pick up trash throughout the garage or lot; empty trash receptacles
7. Perform basic truck maintenance including cleaning, washing, oil changes, headlight replacement, and other general upkeep.
16. Work independently and as part of the team.
17. Observe safety precautions at all times.
18. Perform other duties as assigned.

* Incumbent must be able to stand for up to six (6) consecutive hours.

* Lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
