An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead our established Early Years Team. We are looking for an experienced EYFS teacher to join us from the summer term. The successful candidate will join the extended SLT and lead the EYFS stage, which comprises two Reception classes plus the morning and afternoon Nursery classes. You will report to the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team and receive half a day dedicated release time in addition to weekly PPA. All Phase Leaders are released at the same time each week, to monitor progress in their phase, attend leadership meetings and to drive school improvement. Our EYFS provision benefits from a dedicated indoor and outdoor EYFS environment to stimulate and challenge our children. In addition, all pupils, including Nursery have opportunities to access resources throughout the school. These include weekly visits to our school library as well as access to our large Woodlands area. We are a positive and well-motivated team and the children are at the heart of all we do. You must be passionate about enabling children to achieve their true potential, building upon and embedding recent successes. The role would suit an experienced EYFS leader looking to work in a larger school, or a skilled EYFS teacher looking to develop their leadership experience.
