Job Overview
We are looking to recruit an experienced Social Work Practitioner to join our team of Independent Reviewing Officers.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Quality assuring the Care Planning and review process for children and young people who are looked after.
2. Chairing Child Protection Conferences and a range of other meetings including Adoption Reviews, Secure Reviews, and Disruption Meetings.
3. Providing scrutiny, support, and challenge to Social Workers and managers to ensure that care and protection plans are progressed in a timescale that meets the child’s needs.
Qualifications
Applicants need to be social work qualified and registered with Social Work England. Successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced check by the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
