The purpose of this role is to support our Residential Care Unit and provide person-centred care and support for our residents. What I might be doing?
* Within the Unit you will provide person-centred care and support for the service users within the unit.
* You will communicate the needs of service users to management and maintain good relations between service users, staff, and visitors to the unit.
* You will enable the service users in the unit to maintain or regain their independence, individuality, and dignity.
NVQ 2 in Social Care or working towards.
* An understanding of Safe manual handling techniques.
* Knowledge of Safeguarding Adults.
* A minimum of two years' experience of working with older adults and an understanding of their differing complex care needs.
