Job Description
A challenging role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, requiring proactive and reactive maintenance skills.
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a Monday-Friday basis, with no nights or weekend work.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Carry out proactive maintenance and site PMs to ensure optimal equipment performance.
* Respond quickly to breakdowns and resolve issues efficiently.
* Work across mechanical faults and maintenance tasks.
* Contribute to Engineering projects, such as commissioning, installations, and relocations.
* Identify and implement improvements covering both processes and machine output.
* Maintain adherence to site Health & Safety rules and legislation.
Requirements:
* Time-served / recognised apprenticeship (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject.
* Ideal experience in both electrical and mechanical fields.
* Prior experience in a maintenance engineer role, preferably in a similar industry.
* Ability to work at a fast pace and confidence in a manufacturing environment.
Salary and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of approximately £35,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location. This figure may be subject to negotiation depending on experience.
