The Role As Group and Events Planning Executive, you will be responsible for the seamless coordination and execution of a variety of high-end events, including leisure and corporate group stays, meetings, banquets, and private functions. Working closely with clients, you will ensure their visions are brought to life while upholding the highest levels of service and professionalism. You will also – but not be limited to: Meeting with clients to understand event objectives, budgets, and requirements Building and maintaining strong client relationships to ensure loyalty and repeat business Planning, coordinating, and executing all aspects of group and event logistics from contract to delivery Acting as the main point of contact for clients before and during events, ensuring all requirements are met Liaising with the central bookings team and operational departments to guarantee smooth event delivery Overseeing rooming list input, event set-ups, and all on-site arrangements including AV and catering Conducting meet-and-greet duties on event days and managing any issues that arise Following up post-event to gather feedback and discuss future opportunities Supporting sales through sharing leads and participating in hotel promotional activities Preparing and sharing detailed function sheets to ensure smooth communication across departments The Person An ideal candidate for the role of Group and Events Planning Executive is a proactive and passionate individual who thrives on creating memorable experiences. With an exceptional eye for detail, you will bring events to life through strong planning, outstanding communication, and the ability to multitask under pressure—all with a genuine smile. You will also demonstrate: A client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities The ability to plan, prioritise, and multitask in a fast-paced environment Flexibility and adaptability in line with business needs A team-player mindset with an independent work ethic A positive, solutions-driven attitude Minimum 2 years’ experience in event planning within the hospitality industry (desirable) Knowledge of PMS systems such as OnQ / Opera and Delphi S&C (desirable) The Hotel Situated in the heart of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, with 228 bedrooms, including 11 suites, this period building has been beautifully restored to its former glory in a luxurious design to offer the ultimate in relaxation.
