We are recruiting for a Damp, Mould and Disrepair Team Leader. This role will be based in Basingstoke on a full time permanent basis, working 37 hours per week. Although based in Basingstoke, you’ll be required to travel and work from any of our sites when necessary.

Here’s the facts about the role:
As Damp, Mould and Disrepairs Team Leader, you’ll be responsible for managing damp & mould and disrepair cases for VIVID, from first contact though to resolution. This requires the design and implementation of a proactive approach to damp & mould and disrepair to ensure our customers are at the forefront of our minds.
You’ll support your team as they undertake and/or organise 3rd party damp & mould and disrepair inspections to accurately diagnose causes and remedies. You’ll organise remedial works to address via our DLO or suitable contractors and ensure each case is resolved satisfactorily. You’ll work with our legal partners where disrepair claims require it and pull together the necessary information and evidence.
You’ll provide expert advice to residents and colleagues with clear and helpful communications to provide co-ordinated, holistic and long-term solutions to damp and condensation related issues.
You’ll use data and local knowledge of our stock to pre-empt future cases and work with other teams to design broader planned solutions.
You'll need to have a proven track record of being a great team player and mentor, who’ll help to motivate the team to deliver a ‘right first-time’ service. You’ll have some good IT skills, be organised and able to work well under pressure. You’ll have good overall technical knowledge of repairs and maintenance services particularly in damp and mould. Knowledge or experience of working in social housing would be beneficial.
