We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Manager (Part-Time FTC) to join our family-run food business.

The Role
This is a hands-on position where your expertise will make a real difference. You will be responsible for leading food safety initiatives, training teams, and managing audits to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.
* Maintaining Quality Standards: Ensure our Food Safety and Quality Management System meets legal, customer, and industry requirements.
* BRC Certification: Lead the charge towards achieving and maintaining BRC certification, utilizing your expertise to drive excellence.
* Testing and Analysis: Oversee testing schedules, analyze results, and implement timely corrective actions to maintain high standards.
* Customer Complains and Non-Conformances: Handle complaints and non-conformances, implementing effective solutions with root cause analysis.
* Training and Development: Train production teams, fostering a strong food safety culture and driving continuous improvement.
* Customer and Auditor Liaison: Act as a key point of contact for customers, auditors, and regulatory bodies during visits and reviews.

* Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with experience using root cause analysis techniques.
